climate change stamps

These Finnish stamps came across the duel of doves channels today, and we had to document them in the blog as they have a message to tell. Commissioned by the Finnish Post and designed by Berry Creative, the Climate Change Stamps aim to offer an innovative way to communicate the adverse effects that rising temperatures will have on Finland.

With the use of heat-reactive ink, these stamps display images of birds, people and snow clouds that turn into skeletons, multiples and thunderstorms when heated, sending a clear message about climate change and the impacts. Here we see a powerful use of sensory design, and it's fantastic to see the way these stamps help bring attention to this critical issue.
